Topics covered are: introduction to finance, finance environment and participants in this environment, what the business finance deals with, financial statements and analysis, cash budgeting, time value of money and risk and return.
The contents of this course consist of development of marketing management orientations, marketing environment, consumer behavior, targeting and positioning, product development, pricing, distribution and communication strategies and marketing ethics.
This course aims to set the fundamental basis for the future accounting courses by covering the bookkeeping process and the reporting of the basic financial statements as the balance sheet, income statement, the statement of cash flows, and the statement of retained earnings.
The course provides a strong foundation of research and knowledge on organizational dynamics. After reviewing historical development of management, students will be informed about key individual characteristics affecting key organizational outcomes. Then, these characteristics will be linked to group processes as well as organizational settings. At the end of the course, students will be able to analyze organizations that they are members in and take more effective actions in them.
This course covers basic concepts, tools, and principles of developing business strategies and analyzing competitive environment. The course aims to develop and understanding of managerial decisions and actions that effect survival and performance of business enterprises. The course focuses on knowledge and skills which hmanagers must possess in order to develop strategies under competitive conditions, position their business, decide on boundaries, and increase success and profitrability in the long run.
This course covers the subjects of product systems, operations management functions, production planning, inventory management, design of goods and services, process and product strategies, capacity planning, location analysis, layout strategies.

EISL 503 Managerial Decision Making Techniques
The main emphasis of the course is how to model a managerial problem using mathematical modeling (Linear programming and Integer programming). Many examples from different application areas are given.
EISL 509 Human Resources Management
Issues in the strategic HRM will be covered as well as the HRM activities like HR planning and recruitment, hiring, training and development, compensating, appraising, career and succession planning, and their interaction with each other.
EISL 516 Production Planning and Inventory Control
This course explains the basic concepts related to production management, inventory management and supply chain, discusses current issues, and introduces quantitative techniques on these topics.
EISL 518 Data Analytics for Business
This course shows how to exploit data analytics in business problems. It teaches the application of data analytic techniques on business problems via an open source programming language.
EISL 537 Consumer Behavior
Moving from micro to macro topics, perception, learning, motivation, personality and lifestyle, attitudes, identities, decision-making mechanisms and social and cultural interactions of consumers are the main topics of covered in this course. Different dimensions of consumption before, during and after purchasing are investigated.
EISL 550 Coaching, Leadership and Career Management
In this course, students will learn basic coaching skills and leadership styles. They will be better acquainted with the values, strengths and developmental areas, and will learn how they can demonstrate their coaching approach in their leadership styles. They will learn and experience the evaluation and self-management tools necessary for career planning.
EISL 564 Marketing Research
This course provides a broad overview of marketing research from a practical and applied perspective. Students will learn the basics of research and how to conduct a research project.
EISL 566 Auditing
Covers the framework of accounting auditing as an important part of the corporate governance and financial reporting process. Auditor independence, the phases of the auditing process, and the preparation of the auditing reports will be discussed.
EISL 573 International Financial Reporting and Analysis
This course examines Financial statement analysis, stressing the business and industrial analysis. The Framework of the international financial reporting standards and the notable standards will be discussed.
EUTF 501 International Financial Markets
The main objective is to explore the primary theoretical and practical concepts that dominate international financial markets and those that should be taken into consideration during international risk management and investment decisions.
