Course Objectives This course aims to increase the knowledge of students on production planning, inventory management and supply chain management, and to teach the necessary techniques for the solution of these problems.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to explain the basic concepts of production planning.
  • Will be able to show their knowledge about current issues related to production management.
  • Will be able to apply basic quantitative techniques used in inventory management.
  • Will be able to show their knowledge on supply chain applications.
  • Will be able to analyze production management problems via holistic viewpoint.
Course Description This course explains the basic concepts related to production management, inventory management and supply chain, discusses current issues, and introduces quantitative techniques on these topics.
