Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide the graduate students with the basic methods and tools of scientific research.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to understand the basic dynamics of academic research,
  • Will be able to acquire basic skills for academic writing,
  • Will be able explain how academic texts are designed in law,
  • Will be able classify the writing techniques used in an academic text,
  • Will be able to define the basic elements of scientific writing process,
  • Will be able to distinguish the approaches of scientific studies.
Course Description In this course, concepts such as right, law, justice and equality are examined in the context of natural law, legal positivism and legal realism theories, and problems such as the sociological origin, effectiveness, function and historical evolution of law are discussed.
