    Course Objectives The aim of this course is to examine the crimes committed through social media that emerged with the development of technology with the dimension of criminal and criminal procedure law.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Will be able to apply the basic principles and concepts of Criminal Law, Information and Technology Law according to the events and situations they encounter.
    • Will be able to analyse the events related to Information and Technology Law systematically.
    • Will be able to solve the events and situations that may be created by Information Technologies in accordance with the principles of law.
    • Will be able to compare the knowledge gained in the programme with practice.
    • Will be able to discuss the harmonisation of developing information technologies with the legal structure and the contradictions encountered
    • Will be able to define social media, social media freedom, crimes committed in social media.
    Course Description This course covers the topics of social media and crimes through social media.
