    Course Objectives The aim of this course is to examine the concept and nature of algorithms, the usage areas of algorithms and the problems and consequences of algorithms in terms of personal data protection law.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • explain the basic concepts about algorithm.
    • explain the basic principles of the qualities of algorithms.
    • associate the usage areas of algorithms in daily life.
    • discuss the consequences of the use of algorithms in terms of personal data protection law.
    • analyze the problems that may arise from the processing of personal data by using algorithms.
    Course Description This course includes topics of analysing the theoretical and practical consequences and problems of algorithms in terms of personal data protection law.
