Course Objectives The objective of this course is to provide apprehend of Contracts of Maritime Commerce within the framework of legal regulations, doctrine and case law and improve the competence of solving legal problems that will be encountered in practise.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students who successfully complete this course will be able to;
  • Define, categorize, distinguish the similiar and different aspects of Maritime Contracts, will be able to identify the principles that are dominate to Contracts of Maritime Commerce when this course completed,
  • Compare the national legislation applied to Contracts of Maritime Commerce with the international legislation.
  • Interpret the legislation applied to Contracts of Maritime Commerce.
  • Explain the rights and obligations of the parties of Contracts of Maritime Commerce.
  • Determine the legal qualifications of maritime transport bills and solve the problems that will be encountered.
  • Evaluate the insurance of benefits against a variety of risks that are subject to the Contracts of Maritime Commerce.
Course Description Types of Contracts of Maritime Commerce, National and International Legislation Applied to the Contracts of Maritime Commerce, Insurance of Interests Which Are Subject to Contracts of Maritime Commerce against a variety of risks and Legal Remedy Ways arised from Contracts of Maritime Commerce will constitute the content of this course.
