Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to examine the commercial arbitration, while also having regard to international conventions and to set forth its interplay with the national law.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define arbitration in terms of commercial differences.
  • Discuss the properties of arbitration within the framework of New York and Geneva Conventions.
  • Show the interplay between international arbitration and national legal order.
  • Analyze the disputes that could arise in the course of arbitration in accordance with national and international legislation.
  • Classify the types of arbitrations.
Course Description This course includes the topics of international arbitration, New York Convention and Geneva Convention.
