About Us
Izmir University of Economics Graduate School of Graduate Studies "English Language Teaching" Master's Programmes with and without Thesis have been opened with the aim of enriching the classroom experiences of English language teachers with the skills required by the new century, contributing to the training of teachers with advanced language proficiency, field knowledge and professional skills, interdisciplinary research and self-development, and improving the quality of English language teaching. The current approaches recommended by the Council of Higher Education have been taken into consideration in the programme design. In this direction, a wide range of elective courses such as teaching and learning methods and techniques, cognitive thinking skills, digital competence of the teacher, inclusiveness in education, leadership skills have been created and it is aimed that graduates will be competent teachers in 21st century world of education.
