    Course Objectives The aim of this course is to explain the limitations of the legal capacity and disposition power of married persons within the framework of the Turkish Civil Code and the Turkish Code of Obligations, and to discuss the controversial points in practice.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Define the concept of spousal consent.
    • Classify different situations where the consent of the spouse is required.
    • Discuss the problems related to the consent of the spouse in practice.
    • Compare the concepts of limitation of capacity and limitation of power of disposition.
    • Explain the consequences of the spouse's consent or not.
    Course Description Within the scope of this course, subjects such as the transactions that can be made with the consent of the spouse, the way the consent is given, the effect of not obtaining the consent on the validity of the transaction with the third party will be discussed.
