About the Program

HEALTHCARE QUALITY AND PATIENT SAFETY GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS WITH THESIS (IN TURKISH)

The IEU interdisciplinary program on “Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety” aims to  contribute knowledgeable, skilled and  proficient healthcare professionals  in this area. With this perspective, the following themes are emphasized:

• Learning basic concepts of healthcare quality and patient safety

• Learning and applying international standards and accreditation

• Learning and applying Internal and external audit within the umbrella of standards and accreditation

• Learning and implementing quality development techniques

• Creating patient safety culture and  awareness  and  proficiency on classification, recording, and monitoring of medical errors in regard to patient safety

Students of the Master’s  program with thesis are expected to acquire knowledge and skills on planning, coordinating, and presenting the outcomes of a research on healthcare quality and patient safety. The interdisciplinary program offers a flexible course schedule (on week nights and weekends) that allows education for adult professionals  with busy work schedule.

We have students since 2016-2017 acaemic year. New students will ve accepted in Autumn and Spring semester in 2019-20 academic year.
