Course Objectives The aim of this course is to introduce biomimetics, emphasise the importance of biological mechanisms and mimicking such structures, biomimetic products and its application fields.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to explain the biomimetics and biomimetic applications
  • Will be able to describe natural mechanisms
  • Will be able to compare natural structures and biomimetic structures
  • Will be able to discuss biomimetic products
  • Will be able to interpret biomimetic and its applications in bioengineering field
Course Description This course covers biomimetic structures, biological structures, biomimetic applications and biomimetics in medical field.
