    Course Objectives The aim of the course is to help students understand Turkish business environment from a comparative and historical perspective.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Acquire the ability to understand the main aspects of Turkish business system in comparative perspective.
    • Be furnished with an ability to understand how Turkish business system has been changing within the globalizing world.
    • Acquire an ability to understand how Turkish big businesses have grown.
    • Acquire the ability to analyze the institutional factors that influence national business systems.
    • Evaluate managerial and organizational issues in Turkey.
    Course Description The course deals with the Turkish Business System in historical comparative perspective. It specifically involves an analysis of historical changes in Turkish business system characteristics such state-business relations, organizational structures and strategies, and managerial elites. Furthermore, it examines the economic, political, and institutional conditions that shape entrepreneurial behavior and organizations of business activities in Turkey.
