Course Objectives International family law course aims to teach family law relations like marriage, divorce and custody with international character and related disputes.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define international family law and determine its scope.
  • Discuss the relation of international family law with the neighbour branches.
  • Solve the problem regarding the determination of the law applicable to this area.
  • Classify the international jurisdiction rules in this area.
  • Fulfill the requirements for recognition and enforcement of the foreign court decisions rendered in this area.
Course Description Concept of international family law, sources of international family law, determination of applicable law and competent court in international family law, recogntion and enforcement of foreign court decisions regarding international family law.
