Course Objectives Taking into consideration the broad place taken by labour litigation in Private Law, various issues related to labour disputes and litigation, which require a thorough research, will be clarified.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain the particular aspects of labour litigation.
  • Define lawsuits for reinstatement of employees.
  • Compare different legal provisions safeguarding the freedom of association.
  • Discuss the challenging procedure concerning authorization of labour unions.
  • Classify the categories of collective labour dispute resolution.
Course Description Within the scope of this course, labour dispute resolution will be examined in the light of Turkish Law, the international norms, and the judicial precedent. It is aimed to examine both legal and collective dispute resolution.
