Dear Students,

Due to the transition to a new Student Information System (OBS), there is a delay in the course registration process. We sincerely apologize for this delay and ask for your understanding.

Please know that we are working diligently to improve our Student Information System. Once this process is completed, we will have a reliable platform that supports decision-making, is accessible from all platforms, and is integrated with all major government databases such as YÖKSİS.

To ensure that this delay does not disrupt your academic progress, please take note of the following important information:

1. As previously announced, the official start date of the 2024-2025 Spring semester is Monday, February 10, 2025.
2. Course schedules and links containing information about all courses offered at our university are available online and on notice boards throughout the campus.
3. Through these links, you can access details regarding the date, time, and location of the compulsory courses in your curriculum:
   • We expect you to attend single-section courses in person.
   • For multi-section courses, since you have not yet been assigned to a specific section, you may attend any available section or watch the lecture asynchronously later.
4. Similarly, you can find information about the elective courses available for your semester through the same links. You may attend these courses or watch their content asynchronously later.
5. During the first week of the semester (February 10-14, 2025):
   • Attendance will not be mandatory.
   • Courses will be recorded on the Panopto system, as in previous semesters. However, we hope that this does not discourage you from actively attending classes.
6. Online courses (e.g., Turkish Language and History of the Turkish Revolution) scheduled for February 10-14, 2025 will be delivered asynchronously. Instructors will record their first sessions and share them with students on Blackboard course pages. Live online classes will commence during the week of February 17-21, 2025.
7. The start date for the course registration process will be announced separately. Therefore, please closely follow all university notifications via Student Information System “Announcements”, SMS, e-mail, the university website, digital and physical notice boards.
8. Technical support teams have been established to assist you during the registration process. The university's computer laboratories will also be available for your use during the registration period.
